The Samsung i600 smartphone, which is also known as the BlackJack, will be released in the UK in February by Expansys.
The 3G device, which is aimed at the same segment of the market as the Motorola Q, features Windows Mobile 5.0, a 1.3 megapixel primary camera plus a VGA video telephony camera, stereo Bluetooth, and push email.
The i600 also features HSDPA, 2.3-inch QVGA (320×240 resolution) 65k color screen, quad-band GSM/GPRS radios, and 802.11b/g WiFi.
The i600 has a full QWERTY keypad and is small enough for single-handed operation. It can double-up as an HSDPA modem and can be switched into USB mass storage mode, to transfer date from a PC.
The phone is expected to retail at around £390.
