World’s Thinnest Waterproof Mobile Phone Launched by Fujitsu

Fujitsu has released the F703i waterproof mobile phone in Japan. The device measures a mere 17.9mm thick and can be submerged for half an hour at a depth of up to 1 metre without letting in any water.

Apparently the phone can be washed in sink without coming to any harm – although putting it through the washing machine is probably not to be recommended.

The device includes a 2.2-inch screen, a 1.3MP camera, a webcam for video chatting and a MicroSD slot for extra memory.

Fujitsu plans to expand its range of waterproof phone and cut down the thickness even more to up to 11mm.
