Digital Switch Off dates announced for Whitehaven

The dates for the final phase of DSO have been announced for Whitehaven and the surrounding villages affected by the analogue closedown

Early May - captions will appear on the analogue channels reminding viewers that they need to move over to digital

17th October - BBC2 will be turned off. ITV 1 will move to button 2 on the telly and BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC News 24 and CBBC will appear on a digital mux carried on the old ITV frequency.

14th November - BBC1 ITV1 and Channel 4 analogue will be history with 3 more digital muxes firing up giving viewers a choice of around 18 digital channels.

If you live in the ITV Borders region you are most welcome to join us on the forum and share your experiences over the next year or so before DSO. Horror stories will be treated with sympathy :)
