Touchmate Launches World's Smallest Mobile Phone

Touchmate, a Dubai-based company, has launched Diamond Cam Mobile TM-M800G – the world’s smallest mobile phone.

The phone measures just 3cm x 9cm and weighs 99gms, but is still packed with features including mp3 and mp4 capability, 128MB memory expandable by a T-Flash slot, speaker functionality, and dual USB and power chargeability.

It also incorporates a 1.3 MegaPixel camera, Color TFT Sharp screen and audio/video recorder.

The phone is available in golden and silver black, with an embedded Swarovski diamond crystal. The casing is engraved with a flower design and the phone ships with an exclusive leather packaging and extra battery.

The phone is destined for the EMEA region, which is expected to grown by 12% in 2007 to reach 400 million units, according to research from market intelligence company IDC.
