Samsung releases world's slimmest slider phone

Samsung’s SGH-U600 Ultra Edition 10.9 is currently the slimmest slider phone in the world with a depth of 10.9mm.

The phone features an elegant, sapphire blue body with a 2.2-inch LCD screen with touch-sensitive buttons. It weighs in at 81 grams.

The device is well-equipped in the camera department, with a 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto-focus, 4x digital zoom and built-in flash.

There is also a special image editor feature which can be used to add special effects, adjust the colour and insert frames on images.

The camera takes good quality videos and can record voice clips of up to 60 minutes.

A USB connection allows data to be transferred easily to a computer and the phone comes with a TV-Out connector so photos and videos can be viewed directly on a TV.

The music player can play MP3 audio files and there is also an FM radio.

Other features include a built-in phone book, calendar, alarm, world clock, converter (for currency, length, weight, volume, area and temperature), stop watch, timer and calculator) and document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF).
