USB dongle brings HDTV to laptops
by Janet Harris

AMD has announced the TV Wonder 600 USB, an external USB dongle which brings HDTV signals and DVR capabilities to a laptop.
The slim, black device allows HD content to be recorded straight to the laptop’s drive.
As well as the HDTV tuner it has an A/V input jack for capture directly from a camcorder or VCR.
It comes with a credit-card sized infrared remote control and ATI’s Catalyst Media Center software.
The price has not yet been revealed but the US launch date is set for September.
