IPTV to feature at the IBC 2007

The IBC 2007 show, in September 07 will be featuring for the very first time IPTV, this is a great boost for the industry as it proves to every one that IPTV is here to stay and is a great recognition of the potential that the industry has and for the strides that it has taken over the past couple of years.

The exhibition will have an IPTV Zone, which will be held in hall 12; this will allow the industry to show off the technology and how things have advanced. Exhibiting will be developers, content providers, and the technology companies that bring it all together. With business briefings that will explore and explain how things are shaping up, this will also bring together the leaders of the industry who will no doubt be able to seek out new territories and ideas.

So far there are over twenty companies signed up to be in the IPTV Zone, these include, TANDBERG Television, Kasenna, Thomson Grass Valley and Texas Instruments. Signiant has signed on as a Platinum sponsor. There have been “Zones” in the past most notably was the Mobile Zone.
