Forrester reports satisfaction with HDTV
According to a new report from Forrester Research Inc – ‘The Multi-HDTV Household Opportunity’ – high-definition television users are so satisfied with their purchase that they are likely to buy more.

The report suggests that because of this high level of satisfaction and the growth of HDTV-friendly Internet content, companies should focus their marketing not just on consumers planning to buy their first HDTV, but also on those who have already bought an HD set.

Forrester believes that eventually most homes will have at least three high definition TVs.

The data for the report came from Forrester’s NACTAS Q4 2006 Survey, a survey of 5,005 US households.

Forrester’s prediction will be welcomed by companies such as Apple, whose Apple TV service works only with HD sets.
