Agreements with nine new European IPTV operators for Private Media Group

Private Media Group, a US-based adult entertainment provider, has announced that during the third quarter of 2007 it signed agreements with nine new IPTV operators in Europe to provide adult digital content.

The platform operators are based in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Greece, Portugal and Denmark, and mainly include leading telecoms which all offer Triple-Play featuring IPTV based TVOD.

Private Media Group currently has agreements with 23 IPTV/VOD platforms in 11 territories in Europe.

The company considers that IPTV in Europe will be the TV delivery platform of choice for the Pay-TV consumer and is committed to being the global leader in digital content distribution. Its expansion into the fast growing IPTV/VOD platform market in Europe confirms the company’s long-term strategy.
