Tiscali announces VoIP for larger SMEs

Tiscali UK Business Services is launching a ten line Voice Ready Broadband product. Designed for larger scale SMEs, the new product follows the launch of a four line Voice Ready Broadband product in May.

The product supports up to ten standard telephone channels across a single DSL line, making it a cost-effective and flexible solution for companies with more demanding communications requirements.

Voice Ready, which is part of Tiscali’s Wholesale Connectivity ADSL product line, promises guaranteed voice quality over broadband and provides SLAs on latency, jitter and packet loss, to support carrier class voice services.

The product is targeted at resellers who wish to provide services to support real time applications such as Voice over ADSL, Video Streaming and Video Conferencing.

It allows resellers to offer a cost effective alternative to PSTN and ISDN based services.
