Qipit technology scans camera phone text
Qipit, the mobile scanning specialist, has developed a free online and mobile service which converts photos of handwritten or printed documents into clear digital copies.

The company has now enhanced the technology, making the scanned text more readable and preserving the integrity of photographs in “qipit” copies.

Qipit has combined patented ink extraction and automatic picture detection to create the only scan-on-demand service which can convert images of colour documents into high fidelity copies.

The service provides colour copies of a document with all the significant information from the original document, in an easy to read and easy to print format.

Qipit is compatible with any digital camera or 1 mega pixel (or higher resolution) camera phone.

Qipit’s mobile document acquisition capabilities can be integrated into enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM and document management applications.

The technology can even capture data that was previously difficult to capture and transmit, such as information from white boards and hand-written meeting notes.

Qipit makes it simple to share information and can effectively replace the use of fax machines and scanners.
