Samsung officially announced the Samsung G800 camera phone at a dealer and press event in London on 29 October.
The slider phone, which is an upgraded version of the G600, has a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with 3x optical zoom, dedicated camera button and xenon flash.
The back of the phone has a leather-like finish for better grip, and the lens and xenon flash are protected with a lens cover.
The device also features Bluetooth, USB support, 3G or HSDPA connectivity and stereo speakers.
Samsung has also revealed that it is talks with 3 UK about some of its forthcoming handsets.
Samsung’s share of the UK market has increased to 23% recently, its highest ever level. A deal with 3UK could help the company increase its UK share even further.
