IPTV grows in Moscow

by David Allen

Its funny how in some countries IPTV is making giant steps in coverage and therefore encouraging subscribers.

For instance there is Comstar Direct who are currently the premier provider of broadband services in Moscow, they have seen their subscriber base increase to 452,600 in residential areas.

Out of these subscribers over 100,000 are termed as double pay, which mean that they not only receive broadband services but IPTV too.

Only a year earlier the company had 313,200 subscribers and 58,600 who were classified as double pay. This has meant that their revenues have increased to €17 million which is up by 19% on the same period in 2006.
