BBC officially launches HD

by David Allen

For some people they mind this strange, as it has been showing in a test version for almost eighteen months now, so viewers have been seeing how different this service is from that of normal digital TV.

The BBC believes that there are more opportunities for the program makers to explore different ideas by the way of making more powerful programming, or so they say. There are those that say there is little difference.

It looks as if the BBC is looking to push the HD message out over Christmas as this year will see the Queens speech broadcasted in HD for the very first time, as well some other very special programs for the festive season.
