O2 moving into IPTV and Mobile ads

by David Allen

Whether this has been planned or if it is response to the competition in the mobile market but O2 are definitely upping their game and it will be great for their customers that they have.

No longer satisfied with just offering the normal mobile phone facilities the company are venturing into IPTV and are looking into advertising on their mobile phone network, this where customers receive ads on the phones and in return receive a reduce or free service.

Although there are no firm details the company has been investing heavily in what they are calling strategic investments, these are small companies that are already in the mobile, fixed line, broadband and IPTV services, making it clear that they are looking to enter the market in a big way.
