Broadband satisfaction down

by David Allen

In a survey conducted by J D Power and Associates, it would appear that internet users in the UK are less satisfied with their internet service providers than at the same time last year, which is a bit disappointing.

The survey tried to find the best and worst performing broadband providers by asking customers a series questions that took into consideration the following criteria’s: performance and reliability; customer service and technical support; cost; image; billing; email services; offerings and promotions.

The results were not as what some companies expected: JD Power and Associates ranked the broadband providers as follows, on a 1,000-point scale: Tiscali (668); Virgin Media (660); Sky (657); AOL (646); Industry Average (645); Orange (636); Pipex (634); Talk Talk (630); BT (626).

BT coming last is not the sort position that they would expect to find themselves in and need to put a bit of work in to get back on top!
