The device runs on a 1.6GHz Via technologies CPU, with 1GB of DDR2 Ram and up to 120GB of hard drive space.

It has a sliding 5 inch (127mm) WVGA LCD screen and features a backlit thumb keyboard, track stick, and capacitive TouchScrollersâ„¢.

The e2 is encased in a magnesium alloy chassis for durability, with a shock mounted hard drive or optional solid state drive.

When not on the road, an optional OQO docking station allows the e2 to be connected to a full size display, keyboard, mouse, and wired Ethernet, in order to function as a desktop PC.

The e2 is available now, for around £1,099 excluding VAT.
