BBC to offer Mac service

by David Allen

The BBC has made some serious strides ahead with their online offerings. But they have for so long been an exclusively Windows only organisation, but now they are going to make it available for both Mac and Linux on the seven day catch up service, where programmes from the past seven days can be downloaded and view on the computer.

These are changing times at the BBC and it has to be said very exciting times, as we mentioned on an earlier post, the iPlayer goes live on Christmas Day.

In another exciting development the bbc.co.uk website that has been due for a bit of an update is getting just with the new revamped site being launched in a few days time, there will be more features and social networking will even get a look in.
