Venturer launching SHD7001 High-def DVD player

Venturer is launching its SHD7001 High Definition DVD player in the UK.

The low-cost player will be available with an add on package worth £50.00 which will include Hulk and Troy HD DVDs, a free HDMI cable.

It will also include a voucher for 5 more free HD DVDs courtesy of the European HD DVD Promotional Group, valid until 31st January 2008. Postage and packing on the HD DVDs will also be free.

The SHD7001 high-def player will initially be exclusively available from the QVC TV Home Shopping Channel, from the 29th December.

The product will be ‘Today’s Special Value’ item on the 29th, marking the official UK launch, when the price of the player will be revealed. It is expected to retail for under £200.

QVC is available on Sky Digital channel 630, Freeview channel 16 and Virgin TV channel 740. Items can be ordered by calling 0800 50 40 30 or from the website – http://www.qvcuk.com
