Warner Bros launch VOD in UK

Warner Bros the film and TV producers have launched five video on demand (VOD) services world wide in France, Japan and the UK. They will also be launching other services in 2008.

The service will be available through Virgin Media and BT’s IPTV service; this is just the beginning of them moving into the sector that will allow them to distribute their products through a wide of channels under the Warner brand.

When the Warner YV subscription VOV service was released in France, it went through Free’s IPTV‘s channels, this has been a huge success attracting more than 25,000 customers paying around £3.
