Apple offer films through iTunes

by David Allen

The stylish technology company Apple have teamed up with 20th Century Fox in a deal that will see films and other programming become available through iTunes where any of the companies vast selections can be downloaded to the users computer and watch at any time, some of the latest films that will be available online are the latest Simpson’s offering and Die Hard Four.

At the moment it is only the Disney Corp that are making their material available through the iTunes site, so by getting these on board it is a good thing for Apple and probably the users too. But the deal does not stop with this, it is also believed that Apple are in talks with Sony Pictures and Warner Bros, this will have a great effect on the sales of Apple equipment such as the iPod and itouch.

This has been a good period for making new partnerships as O2 have said that they will be partnering with Paramount, HBO and Warner Bros, while BT, Virgin Media and Sky are also looking to enter the VOD or Pat TV market in the UK.
