UK Broadband gets big fine

by David Allen

Being a part of the largest telecoms provider in the UK, has not helped the internet service provider UK Broadband, or how they are known as Now.

They have been fined for failing to get their 2006 accounts in on time, by missing this deadline there is an automatic fine, although it is not known how much. This is just another sign that the company could be in trouble, it is well known that they were seeking some sort of deal with Pipex, which would be a good move for them, but there is no solid news on this.

There has been a large amount of regrouping going on in the broadband sector, with larger more successful organisations taking over the burden from some of those strugglers. UK Broadband still believe that they are a player in the UK, but that will remain to be seen.
