Xbox IPTV via BT

by David Allen

The Microsoft top brass have been at the 2008 International CES and they have been making a few announcements that are very interesting, one of which is the fact that they will be partnering in the UK with BT Vision to offer IPTV through the Xbox 360.

Customers of BT will soon be able to access the one of the most advanced version of television applications, which will provide much of the same programming as they would get with digital TV plus a lot more.

This service will be available in the middle of the year, where BT Vision will be able to access the vast catalogue of movies, classic TV programmes and even the so called near live premiership football matches. This is the first time in the UK for consumers to get this sort of package where TV and ultimate gaming together.
