Vibe adopts StoneSoft's StoneGate platform

Stonesoft, a provider of integrated network security solutions, has entered a partnership with VoIP specialist, Vibe Communications, under which Stonesoft will provide Vibe with its StoneGate Platform.
Vibe Communications will use Stonesoft’s multi-linking VPN technology and load balancing capabilities to support resilience and quality of service in its VoIP products. Stonesoft’s technology will become an intrinsic part of Vibe’s services.
Stonesoft will control traffic over Vibe’s network and reduce down-time by providing back-up connection links.
Vibe Communications was attracted to the StoneGate platform’s integrated management and its VPN technology which enables multiple sites and multi-service providers to be linked into a single quality controlled network.
The StoneGate Platform’s central management server will allow Vibe Communications to maintain and modify resilience, whilst handling a varying workload.
Vibe Communications, an Ofcom accredited Tier 1 SIP Network Operator, provides voice and data service to wholesale, telecommunications and IT specialists, and to multi site and enterprise customers.
Stonesoft Corporation has its corporate headquarters in Helsinki, Finland and Americas headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
