New Minister of Broadband announced
by David Allen

Following a mini cabinet reshuffle at number ten, it seems that the current Broadband Minister Stephen Timms is needed elsewhere like the Department for Work and Pensions. So who will be replacing him?
It’s going to a lady, Baroness Shriti Vadera will be taking up the position of communications minister and the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform, and her predecessor was having word with the UK’s ISP’s on what needs to be done in order to improve the access to the broadband network.
The job at hand is going to be overseeing the a complete overhaul of the telecommunication network, who pays for this is a matter of opinion, the government believes that more money should be coming in from the private sector, while the private sector no doubt believe that the money for the improvements should be coming from the government.
