Tiscali moves Pipex customers
by David Allen

It was last year when Tiscali paid £210 million for Pipex, this moved the business up to forth place in the league of ISP’s, but they appear to be having problems with the system used by Pipex and are planning a sneaky switch over which will make things more efficient and of course help Tiscali’s profit margins.
The problem with the Pipex system is that they used ADSL which can work out expensive for a company like Tiscali, who have been working on developing their own Local Loop Unbundled (LLU), by gradually moving their Pipex customers across to the LLU this will make the whole network easier for Tiscali to manage.
The trouble is none of the customers has been informed, which suggest secrecy, but Tiscali insist that they are doing this to improve customer satisfaction and to save money.
