 National Geographic goes Blu-ray only

HD DVD support has been traded in for Blu-ray technology by National Geographic. So far only one release has been high-def, both Blu-ray and HD DVD, but the next release, “Sharkwater”, due in April, will be Blu-ray only.

The Blu-ray version of “Relentless Enemies” is currently ranked 2,411 in Amazon’s Movies & TV section, while the HD DVD disc is a minor 25,756.

A company spokesman confirmed to HighDefDigest, that HD DVD format releases, will no longer be available.
