BBC finally allows iPlayer to work with Firefox<br />

For nearly six months the BBC have been getting complaints about the new iPlayer, when it first came out in Beta it was found that the programming could only be watched if it was launched using internet explorer, it was not compatible with open source.

But when the iPlayer was officially launched at Christmas it was hope that Firefox would have been supported, but it was not much to the annoyance of the many thousands of users.

So from now on anyone whether they use Internet Explorer or Firefox can catch up with any of the BBC’s programmes that have appeared in the past week. But there is still a need for the computer to be running windows, so apart that that affiliation to windows, the iPlayer can be downloaded to any computer.
