Car Company, Nissan, sign satellite radio deal

ONDAS media and Nissan, have signed an agreement for the installation of satellite radio receivers, in Nissan’s European, Infinity models.
Larry Haddad who controls product strategy, and planning for Nissan, in Europe, said that: “Satellite Radio has been hugely successful in the US and we believe that European consumers will also be attracted to the programming diversity, continuous coverage and superior sound quality that ONDAS Media is developing,”
According to Dave Krueger, chief operating officer at ONDAS, the partnership team is already in the development phase for the radios, and a significant amount of work, has been completed to date.
Dave Krueger representing ONDAS said; “The radios in Nissan vehicles will be the most advanced in the marketplace and will be capable of receiving hundreds of channels of audio programming as well as a suite of data services,” says Krueger. “This definitive agreement brings ONDAS Media’s total number of pre-sold, factory-installed satellite radios beyond the one million mark and is another milestone in our plan to bring our unique content offering to European consumers by 2011.”
He also said the two companies, were well advanced in the development, of the radio system.
With a fully integrated, digital radio satellite network, ONDAS will be able provide audio entertainment, for two hundred and forty million vehicles, in Europe
