Hairdressing takes to the air<br />

The famous hairdressing chain Toni and Guy will be extending their in store TV network into Europe, the content will be delivered by both ADSL and satellite technology.

It will be through Arqiva that this service will be taken into the hair and beauty salons throughout Europe, although there has not been any mention of figures yet. Arqiva bought the European broadcast service from BT last year and they will be providing digital media players, distribution, monitoring, and scheduling.

It is Fitzgerald Shurey Tarbuck who manages the existing service to the 273 salons in the UK who has signed the deal with Arqiva and they will remain managing these services for the next three years. It is an interesting concept that offers a complete TV service to the hair industry.
