2007 Profitable Year for Flytech and Firich

The two top point-of-sale equipment makers in Taiwan, Flytech Technology and Firich Enterprises, saw high pre-tax profits in 2007. The companies are reporting a high quality earnings-per-share at NT$10.84 and NT$16.00 respectively.

Firich saw a large return on their non-operating investment in the fourth quarter, with Hong Kong based Wafer Systems drastically raising the pre-tax profit to NT$993 million. This was a rise from NT$633 million in the previous three quarters.

Whilst Flytech did see a growth from 2006 of 52.3%, a strong result which earned them NT$675.8 million last year, Firich has seen a whopping growth of 130% in the same time frame - affording them earnings of over NT$1,620 million last year.
