The largest telecoms provider in the UK BT has announced that their subscribers for the BT Vision IPTV service has more than double in the third quarter of the financial year.

Subscribers for this service have been growing at a steady rate and by the end of last year their subscriber base reached around 120,000, however this figure has now grown to over 150,000 which is a great boost for the IPTV service and actually does a lot for this sector in general. The more people sign up for this service the more other people will take a look at it to see what it is all about.

In the same time period BT are also reporting that there has been a nice growth in the Broadband take up, with around 511,000 new subscribers signing up for the BT broadband service.
