GSmart to release more GPS PDAs in conjunction with Garmin
by David Allen
Gigabyte Communications’ mobile phone brand GSmart has announced that they will be releasing a new series of slim GPS PDA phones with built-in Garmin Mobile XT navigation later this year.
Following the success of the i350 GPS PDA phone, which was launched with Garmin in Taiwan and Italy, the new phones will be released in Spain, Italy and France.
GSmart’s aim in releasing the new phones, the MW700 and the MS800, is to offer European users reliable map data and navigation on GSmart PDA phones. The new phones’ features will include Geotagging of photos and GPS tracking.
