TV listings site a hit one year on<br />

It was around this time last when the TV listings website whatsontv.co.uk was first launched and at the time there was a lot people saying that this sort of thing would never really take off due to the amount of coverage that the TV listings gets through the media in its various forms.

Well one year on from the launch of the site, the publisher behind the website IPC has announced that there are some pretty spectacular figures for whatsontv.co.uk; the site has been receiving over 350,000 unique visitors per month.

This is great for a website that they said would never make it, it proves that as long as there is a product and demand, there can always be a service to fill that gap and reap the rewards through advertising and sponsorship which where these type of business make their money. These figures are all important to not only keeping but also attracting new advertisers.
