Sony launches VoIP headsets
by Jan Harris
Sony Europe has launched a range of new headsets with hands free capability for VoIP calls and internet chat. They can also be used to listen to music, and for multi-player games.
The headsets are designed to provide clear voice and sound transmission over the internet. They feature a fully adjustable rotating flexible boom microphone with Sony noise-cancelling technology to reduce ’sound leakage’.
The top of the range model is the DR-EX230DP, which has in-ear silicon headphones in three sizes and an in-line microphone. A travel case is also provided and the set is expected to retail at £44.99.
The DR-220DPVS with added volume control will be priced at approximately £29.99. The DR-G250DP is a collapsible model which is ideal for travel use and will cost around £39.99.
