Hitachi Ultra Thin LCDs coming to Europe
by Janet Harris

Hitachi’s Ultra Thin LCDs should be available in Europe from April. The sets will feature ultra-wideband technology from Tzero. UWB-equipped sets are already available in Japan.
The UT HDTVs will be able to receive high-definition video wirelessly from any HDMI equipped audio / video component, with transmission speeds of up to 480Mbps.
The smallest model in the range, the 32-inch UT32MH70 will be the first to arrive in Europe, followed by the 37-inch UT37MX70 in May, and the 42-inch UT42MX70 in June. A digital tuner for the range should be available in October.
