Kangaroo pops up in June
by David Allen

The video on demand service that many people have been patiently waiting for - Kangaroo - will be launching in June this year.
The channel has been developed by the BBC, ITV and Channel Four and will be showing a mixture of content from all of the channels, which is what makes it so interesting. But the BBC is a little concerned about the advertising content that will be sold by both ITV and Channel Four, as they have asked for clarification on exactly what to expect.
The new service will be run as an addition to the existing VoD services that the channels are running, the BBC intends to make programmes available which have gone past their seven day limit on iPlayer, which will give other people the opportunity to view these programmes as a complete series if required, it is not known how ITV and Channel Four will be running their service yet.
