Talks begin between Virgin and Sky
by David Allen

Its been a while and a lot of water has passed under the bridge since the management teams from both Sky and Virgin Media have sat down and talked about the problems that has seen all of the Virgin Media subscribers lose the Sky basic channels, like Sky One, Sky News and Sky Sports News, which were taken away from the Virgin Media subscribers over a year ago in February 2007.
But now it would seem that there could be a chance that these services could be restored as teams from both companies have begun talks on what can only be assumed as trying to find a way that can end the war and bring back those services that virtually satellite viewers need.
This would work well for both businesses as they really need to be concentrating on their core business, which is developing and showing great content on their channels, this small war has been a big distraction for them both.
However just because they are talking does not necessarily mean that there will be viable solution made, the last time they sat done was in February 2007!
