London in the dark over digital<br />

Some people may find this hard to comprehend but it appears that those living London are less informed when it comes to the digital switchover. Maybe it is because they are going to be one of the last places that will have the analogue signal off, but whatever the reason the fact is there are a lot of people who are going to need to get their ready for the big day.

The national figure of people who are oblivious to the digital switchover and how it is going to effect them is set at around eleven per cent, but in London this figure jumps to twenty three per cent, but the advertising campaigns have been running since 2006, with the first sector already being turned off, there is plenty of news about digital TV.

The next target area will be the West Country, Wales and Granada, which takes place next year. While the organisation that has been charged with governing the digital switchover Digital UK, will be launching a new television ad campaign which is designed to educate people that their old TV’s can still be used for receiving a digital signal.
