Orange TV on the way
by David Allen

This has been going around and around for some time, but actually now it would seem that we could be seeing Orange TV finally appear in the UK. This comes as France Telecom the parent company of Orange has passed through the one millionth subscriber for their IPTV service, in their home market place.
For some time Orange TV have been developing way in what will help their subscribers to create their own TV channels of preferred TV programmes, with play lists and personalised schedules. This will help their customers pick and choose how they view their programming depending on what they have been used to.
The problem that France Telecom have is that they are successful in France, which is a different market including language, they need to try and bring this success to the UK, which is not going to be easy, but is totally possible providing that they spend enough time working on how it work, which is what they seem to have done.
