Adobe Systems has launched a beta version of Photoshop Express, a Web-based application for editing, organising and sharing images.
The free application is designed for the consumer market. It can be accessed from Flash-enabled browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari, and an account includes 2GB of storage.
Photoshop Express can connect and share photos with other online destinations, including social networking site Facebook, via tools embedded in the interface.
It provided a convenient, single destination where users can store, edit and share photos whatever their location.
The online version has a range of tools allowing users to crop, resize and edit flaws, and other features including sketch effects.
Images are hosted by Adobe, and can be organised in galleries which can be shared online.
