Dell has included an HD player in its Inspiron 1525 laptop, for a total price of just £729. The laptop marks Dell’s entry into the High Definition market.
Along with the Blu-Ray drive, the Inspiron 1525 features a 15.4-inch screen at 720p resolution, an HDMI port to connect it up to a HDTV like a standalone player, an integrated graphics card, and a dedicated accelerator to ensure HD video playback quality.
The integrated drive is backward compatible to work with DVDs, and will make backups onto standard DVDs and CDs if required.
An optional Blu-ray burner drive is also available, which should end data storage problems – a single Blu-ray disc will hold 50GB of data, compared with a standard DVD which holds a maximum of 8.5GB, making it ideal for digital photos and videos.
The Inspiron 1525 is available in a range of designs, including Chill, Blossom and Commotion, and is also available in Sunshine Yellow, Midnight Blue and Ruby Red.

I’m user of Dell Inspiron E1505. Its good machine but 1 GB ram is disappointing if you use Vista on it. It would have been great if Inspiron was available in 14.1 inch screen size.
