ISP’s losing the SPAM battle

SPAM is fast filling up the country’s inboxes and the blame is being firmly on the shoulders of the ISP’s and the government too, by The chief information officer of anti-SPAM body Spamhaus, Richard Cox. He feels that there is not enough being done by the government and those who provide the internet services, to combat this growing problem.

The ISP’s mentioned as not doing enough are BT, Bulldog, Orange and Tiscali, and anyone who uses them for their internet connection will know because they will be getting SPAM emails filling up their inbox and even junk mail box if they have one.

However it is alright blaming somebody for this problem but what can be done about this? These emails come from all around the world, managed from another country and ordered by an organisation located somewhere else. Under conditions like this stopping the spammers is virtually impossible because they cannot be caught.
