It is not just the BBC iPlayer that is proving a great success; video from across the internet is very popular too, with many new services being launched to satisfy the growing demand.

In fact it has been suggested by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) that internet users are getting so used to searching and using this type of medium more often, they actually went as far to say that the use of video sites is becoming “A part of everyday culture” which is great for the providers of these services.

Because of the popularity of video, websites in the UK providing video have increased by 178% in the last year alone, this goes to show that video on the internet is growing marketplace and why the advertising industry is so interested in capitalising on its success.
