Carphone Warehouse misses forecasts
by David Allen

It has been a disappointing forth quarter for the Carphone Warehouse and this happens despite some good efforts from the company in the beginning of the year.
This final quarter has meant that they have also changed the outlook for the future, as costs begin to increase. As a result the company’s shares prices had fallen nearly ten per cent.
The management of the Carphone Warehouse had predicted that they would get another 128,000 broadband customers in this quarter, but they fell short at only 109,000. The company’s actual broadband customer figure is steady at 2.7 million.
But there are changing times ahead which could prove to be a decent year for all businesses in the mobile communications sector.
