BBC news services get renamed<br />

In what could only be described as a slight reshuffle of the popular news services from the BBC, the two main services have been renamed.

From the 21st April BBC News 24 and BBC World will be renamed to BBC News and BBC World News. There is not much of a change there just the slightest difference which may not even be noticed by some viewers.

But in order to complete the changeover the channel idents and also the studios from the broadcasts will be made will also need to be changed. In total this slight name change will cost around £550,000 to complete!

The general idea is to make the BBC name stand out along side the News logo, which this has done as the news channels are now linked in name too.
