Velocix deploys Adobe Flash technology

Velocix has enhanced its digital asset delivery network with support for Adobe Flash Media Server 3.

This will provide support for H.264 and VP6-S High Definition live and on demand video streaming. Velocix will support the real-time encryption protocol, RTMPe and SWF Verification, which helps protect high value media assets.

The deployment is in response to increasing demand from customers for live and on-demand streaming to Flash.

The Velocix Network allows content owners to distribute video, software, games and other digital assets, globally, while providing control, analytics and reporting functions for the effective management of asset libraries.
