Chelsea upset at fixture change
by David Allen

There is a serious row brewing between Chelsea Football Club and Sky Sports. At this time of the season there are often a large amount of games that need to be played in a short period of time.
Sometimes these games either clash with each other or they are vital to the team’s season and so for the fans there is a viewing clash.
This is what happened with the Chelsea v Everton match and even though there are a few days either side of the fixture, the players are said to have been furious at Sky Sports decision to get the games moved in order to fit in with the scheduling, rather than allowing the teams’ quest for some silverware this season to be spaced out.
This is not the first time that Chelsea has been at odds with Sky Sports, despite the fact that they receive over £50 million per year from the broadcaster as part of the TV deal with the Premier League.
Sky Sports blames the European Union for the congested tail end of the season, as it was them who demanded that the TV coverage be split between two broadcasters.
