ICU Global updates video conferencing service
by Jan Harris
London-based ICU Global, a unified communications specialist, has updated ICU Live!, making it easier for organisations to upgrade from voice to video conferencing without worrying about cost.
ICU Live! eliminates the need to buy expensive video-conferencing equipment – users simply log-in online via a standard internet connection and use the service with any webcam and headset – and the service costs just £5 per month per user for the basic package.
The latest version of ICU Live! is compatible with the Windows Vista operating system, and will support video-conferences with up to 64 participants. This allows organisations to make significant savings on travel costs.
Users can share documents, video clips or PowerPoint presentations, and there is even a whiteboard for collaborative working.
Users can also send instant messages and make free internet calls.
