PAYG Mobile Broadband available at Woolworths

by David Allen

As the market for mobile broadband heats up, the high street retailer Woolworths is set to become the first retailer in the UK to offer its customers a pay as you go mobile broadband dongle. But although it is early days, the sale of these devices has been slow.

However the market is still growing for this type of broadband access, which means for the store that they have got into the marketplace before any of their competitors. Although it will not be long before the likes of Argos and the supermarket chains begin to follow suit.

At the moment the only pay as you go dongle is on 3, but Vodafone are also expected to bring out their own version within a few weeks.

If this works for the providers then it may be possible to see some price reductions and special offers coming out. That has to great for the consumers.
